Last week, during the Plugathon, we had the opportunity to showcase how European interoperability standards can be applied in practice. In our session, we presented the first European Patient Summary (EUPS) within a demo EHR using the Open Health Hub FHIR Viewer.

The demonstration illustrated how standardized FHIR data can be visualized in a clear and clinically meaningful way, directly within the workflow of healthcare professionals. By making structured data easily accessible and understandable, the FHIR Viewer helps bridge the gap between technical interoperability and real-world care processes.
